Raw Chocolate Spread

  • 125g approx chopped hazelnuts
  • 34 tbsps raw cacao powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 120 mls approx Koko or nut milk
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt


  1. In a grinder or blender, whizz the nuts to a paste (small is best here – this doesn’t make a huge amount) Add the oil, and whizz again until the nut paste and oil are smooth. Gradually add the rest of the ingredients, a little at a time, liquid followed by dry, and continue to whizz until smooth and well combined.
